Welcome to Tamborine Mountain Bridge Club.

We offer a range of bridge playing opportunities for all levels of players and regularly participate in local, regional and national competitions.

Our club includes about 75 members, most of whom are active players. We host regular competitions on Monday evenings and on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. On Friday afternoons we have a supervised bridge session where players can develop their skills by getting advice from experienced clubmates. The Wednesday and Friday sessions offer a more relaxed environment, perfectly suited to players transitioning from lessons or those who simply enjoy the social environment. We also conduct lessons for new players and those wanting to refresh their skills as well as occasional specialist tutorials for advanced players. There is wheelchair access available.

Bridge has been an important part of social life on Tamborine Mountain for nearly a century. The first club, called Hearts and Aces, was active during the 1930s, meeting regularly in North Tamborine. Contact

Our club was formed in 1988 and held its first sessions in November of that year. For many years the club utilised a range of venues until, in 2015, we secured a parcel of land at our sports ground for our own purpose-built club house, built almost entirely by our own members. For details about this amazing project, read more on our Photos page.

ABOUT US

The Tamborine Mountain Bridge Club is affiliated with the Australian Bridge Federation and our members play the Standard American system that is common at most clubs throughout Australia.

We also hold lesson sessions for people new to the wonderful world of bridge. Our senior players conduct the classes and most students graduate quickly to the Wednesday afternoon play.

There are also occasional lessons for senior players to learn or revise techniques.

For more details about all of our competitions, check our Calendar. For our lesson schedule, click on the Lessons menu.

We also enjoy a range of extracurricular activities including Christmas in July celebrations, Melbourne Cup day and our annual Christmas celebration - in fact any good reason for a party!

We welcome new members and guest players, so if you would like to know more, Contact Us

We look forward to welcoming you to our very friendly bridge club.
